outlawz kadafiYafeu Akiyele Fula, born on Octobe 9th 1977 in the Bronx is a member of the Outlawz and godbrother to one of the greatest rappers of all time Tupac Shakur.

Yafeu better known by his rap name, Kadafi was born into a family of black panthers. Both Kadafi and Tupac were close friends till their deaths in 1996.

Early Life

Born into a family of seven siblings, Kadafi had a hard life growing up, being raised only by his mother.

Kadafis parents were Sekou Odinga and Yaasmyn Fula. His father, Sekou was arrested and charged when Kadafi was only 4 years old. Sekou was arrested for six counts of attempted murder and also under the RICO act, and for other crimes as well.

Musical Career

In 1994 Kadafi met another member of the Outlawz, Napoleon. Napoleon met Tupac and the three of them formed a rap group which they called Dramacydal.

When Tupac was charged for sexual assault back in 1995 and went to prison, Kadafi and him decided to form a rap group called the Outlaw Immortalz, which brought in members from Tupacs earlier rap groups.

When Tupac signed to Death Row Records, Kadafi was featured on the All Eyez on Me album, he was on three of the songs on the album.

In 1996, Tupac was fatally gunned down, and is still to this day and unsolved mystery.

Just 2 months after Tupacs death, Kadafi was shot in the head by Napoleon’s cousin. Napoleons cousin confessed to the killing and was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
